Hello Friends,

I hope you all had a nice holiday weekend. Thank you to everyone who has visited Hoffmann Hillermann’s so far this year. I hope you all have a wonderful and productive growing season. Hello Friends,

If you are not finished planting your flower gardens, vegetable gardens and landscape beds, do not worry, we have a great selection of plants and supplies. Visit us and get inspired by our beautiful plants and displays and use that inspiration for your gardens and landscape at home.

Memorial Day is this coming Monday 5/29/23. I would like to take this opportunity to honor our Fallen Heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country. Prayers for peace for all of them and their families. Additionally, I want to say “Thank you” to all Veterans and current enlisted Military Members for their service to our country. God bless the USA!

We will be open every day through Memorial Day Weekend - Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Saturday from 8:00 am to 4:30, and Sunday and Memorial Day from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Come by for plants and decorations for your celebrations and supplies for your outdoor projects.

Hello Friends,

Mid-May has arrived, and now is a great time to plant! We have a huge selection of plants for your flower gardens, vegetable gardens and landscape beds. Trees, shrubs, perennials, natives, water plants, annuals, vegetables, herbs… come by and see our full selection! When you plant, give your new plants a head start by using ferti•lome® Root Stimulator. Follow the directions on the label for what type of plants you are planting. Reapply at least 3 times 10 to 14 days apart or as directed on the label.

Watch for pests and diseases on your plants through the season. It is best to identify and treat plants for any issues as soon as possible. We offer treatment products for pests and diseases including natural products that are safer for your family and pets. Read and follow directions on product labels to be sure you apply the right amounts at the right time of day, especially when the weather gets hot. Most products will recommend that you apply them at cooler times in the day (early morning or early evening) during hot weather. Some products recommend that you wait for a cooler day if the weather is a certain temperature or above. Also note on the label instructions when you should re-apply and keep a close watch on the affected plant.

Hello Friends,

       Hopefully, we have had the last frost for this season. Luckily, it was not as cold as forecasted and we didn’t have a hard freeze. Temperatures that produce a frost or freeze can still happen into early May. So, be sure to watch the weather forecasts into mid-May.

       There are several holidays to celebrate over the next few weeks. This week is Administrative Professionals Week. Be sure to show your secretaries or assistants how much you appreciate them. National Arbor Day is Friday, 4/28/23. Plant a tree to observe this holiday! If you have kids or grandkids, include them in this planting project and they can watch the tree grow over years to come. Cinco de Mayo is Friday, May 5, 2023. If you like to celebrate this fun holiday, you can plant a salsa garden while you enjoy a margarita. Teacher Appreciation Week is May 8-12, 2023. Show your appreciation to the teachers in your life. Mother’s Day is Sunday, May 14, 2023.
